Why did you start crossfitting or fitnessing?

I started CrossFit because I was unhappy with how I felt, I was sluggish and tired and just generally really unhealthy. After being an athlete in high school and college, this feeling was new to me and I didn’t like it so I started Crossfit!

What do you love most about working out and why do you continue to do it?

I love the variation and the chance to challenge myself, I’ve achieve so many things in the past two years that I never would have dreamed were possible like handstand push ups or some of the weights I only dreamed of getting to while I was a student athlete.

How has it impacted your life beyond inside the gym?

I’m eating healthier and I’ve meet some of the most amazing and inspiring people that push me to get better and grow every single say.

If you NEVER had to do one exercise movement again - what would it be?

Squats, anything squat related.

Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies, goals and life aspirations...AND your favorite food!

I graduate in May with an Associates of Applied Science in Respiratory Care, then I’ll hopefully pass my board exams and be a Registered Respiratory Therapist. I want to help people like me that suffer from asthma or some other pulmonary issue so that they can do whatever it is that they aspire to do. My hobbies include reading, video games and just general nerdy stuff. And my favorite food is pizza

What do you love about being a part of our gym?

We are the friendliest gym I have ever seen. During vacations I’ve dropped into a few boxes and they weren’t mean by any means but just not nearly as welcoming as I’ve seen some of our members be. I know people make it a point to go talk to new people or drop ins and I love it.
