150 WODS! ATHLETE SPOTLIGHTJana Peterson was one of 3 ladies to make it to our 150 WOD club since the merger of CrossFit 563 & CrossFit bond. Previous to the merger she was a member of Crossfit bond. for 3 years!! BIG SHOUT OUT to Jana - we are so proud of her!🔥Jana takes part in our Nutrition & Wellness Program, SWEAT class, Indoor Cycling and Yoga!She has had great success with her nutrition over the course of the last year and is doing an amazing job at working toward her long term goals.We have asked Jana a few questions and hope that her answers will provide you a little bit of insight into who she is as a person and why we think she's so amazing.
Why did you start crossfitting or fitnessing?
I have been “fitnessing” all my life thanks to my Dad who, as a Physical Therapist, instilled in all of us kids the need to exercise. Thru the years I have found ways that have worked for that particular season-of-life and the classes offered at LiveActive 563 are currently a perfect fit.
What do you love most about working out and why do you continue to do it?
I love the challenge and hope to maintain quality of life for many years to come.
How has it impacted your life beyond inside the gym?
I feel like I am still “in the know” with my 12, all athletic, grandkids when it comes to their own training.
If you NEVER had to do one exercise movement again - what would it be?
So hard to pick just one :) … toss up between wall balls and burpees.
Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies, goals and life aspirations...AND your favorite food!
Favorite food is easy … Harris Pizza - sausage.
What do you love about being a part of our gym?
Love that there are a variety of offerings to choose from with convenient times. The location is perfect. And, of course, the people who I sweat with are like family.
