I am married with two beautiful children. Originally from California, I've lived in the Mid-West for about 6 years now. With two small children (a husband), a full time job, Crossfit has become my hobby!
WHY DID YOU START CROSSFITTING OR FITNESSING?
I was a competitive gymnast for almost 12 years and coached for about the same amount of time. I have known a lot of gymnast that have made the transition to Crossfit and I wanted to give it a try! Plus needed something to get me out of the house and back in shape. I also work from home and not being from the area I didn't have a lot of opportunities to meet people and get out of the house.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WORKING OUT AND WHY DO YOU CONTINUE?
I like how I feel right after a workout..not so much the next morning, but I feel like with the last year, especially, it's helped keep me sane!
HOW HAS YOUR FITNESS OR YOUR ACTIVE LIFE IMPACTED YOUR LIFE BEYOND INSIDE OF THE GYM?
I worked out until about 8 months pregnant and I think it helped a lot with recovery and being able to keep up with my two year old. I also got my husband to join the gym and now we have another common activity to talk about.
IF YOU NEVER HAD TO DO ONE EXERCISE MOVEMENT AGAIN, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Wallballs (not for vertically challenged people) and burpees.

From day one, everyone was welcoming and I haven't met one person that wasn't nice.
