4 Ways to Stay Consistent

Do you struggle to stay consistent in your pursuit for health & wellness? Remember, it's what you do consistently that leads to results and success. Here are some tips that could help! 1. Prioritize Sleep - how many times do we have to say it? Sleep is one of the most important aspects of wellness. It deserves it's own story! a) Set a bedtime scheduleb) Read to slow your thoughtsc) Turn off all lights in and around your sleeping aread) No caffeine within 8 hours of your sleep2. Set Your Environment Up For Success - If weight loss is your struggle - don't fill your cupboard or fridge with Twinkies, Ding Dongs and ice cream. Do yourself a favor and make "healthy" foods readily available. If you don't know what a healthy food is, get a nutrition and wellness coach who can help! (I know of a couple) 3. Plan Ahead - Be Prepared - You remember that saying, If you fail to plan-plan to fail. It's true! An example - your new goal to improve your health is to make it to the gym. One way to set yourself up for success is to pack your gym bag the night before & put it in your car. Kids, early morning text messages and spilled coffee on your dress shirt can all lead to chaos in the morning. If you prepare the night before - you will succeed with at least one thing right away in the morning. 4. Make One Change At A Time - If you are changing some of the unhealthy habits in your life, change them one at a time. Trying to do too many things at once can become overwhelming and make you want to quit. Work on incorporating a healthy habit into your lifestyle and when it becomes easy, work on another. We are on a mission to better the lives of our members through nutrition, fitness and community.
