Why did you start crossfitting or fitnessing?

I started CrossFit to supplement the running that I was doing. At the time (October 2016) I had just finished running a marathon and was looking to do some sort of fitness during the winter time. My friend Susie Cunningham suggested I try CrossFit 563 with her and I’ve been doing it ever since.

What do you love most about working out and why do you continue to do it?

I love the way it makes me feel! It’s nice to earn the pain from each workout!

How has it impacted your life beyond inside the gym?

CrossFit has sent me on an entirely new path. So much so that I’m currently working on a fitness business related to functional fitness.

If you NEVER had to do one exercise movement again - what would it be?

If I could never do one exercise movement again I would choose to stop doing overhead db squats…those suck!

Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies, goals and life aspirations...AND your favorite food!

Hobbies: running, golfing, reading

Goals: get fitness company up and running

Life aspirations: live, love, learn, lead

Favorite food: sushi or anything Japanese…and tacos…and pizza…and pretty much all the food…have you not seen my fitness for food figure!!!

What do you love about being a part of our gym?

Love being a part of the community. Being able to come to a place daily where people have like minded ideas and goals about fitness and life creates a positive, fun environment and experiences.
