Why did you start crossfitting or fitnessing?

I was doing a circuit class at Miletich's Gym, which was turned over to a Crossfit class. I had no choice haha....

What do you love most about working out and why do you continue to do it?

It's one of the few things in life that I have complete control over- I decide if I go or not, and I decide how hard I work.

How has it impacted your life beyond inside the gym?

It's helped me to exercise discipline and also taught me to try things that scare me.

If you NEVER had to do one exercise movement again - what would it be?

Squat snatches.

Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies, goals and life aspirations...AND your favorite food!

I grew up in Bettendorf, I've been married for 21 years and have twin sons who will be graduating from PVHS soon. I work for Eli Lilly as a sales rep. I love time with my family and my friends. I love to cook, and eat. My short term goal is to get my boys off to college and and do my part to help set them up for success. After that.....I have some personal dreams I'd like to dig into. And I will see more of the world (I also love to travel).

My favorite food is.....

Tie between nachos and roasted brussels sprouts with bacon jam.

What do you love about being a part of our gym?

Our gym is very goal-oriented. It pushes me, and it's awesome to see others progress and help cheer them on.
