TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF, YOUR HOBBIES, GOALS, AND LIFE ASPIRATIONS..
Married, mother of 2 (Avery 8, Ryker 5). My hobbies aside from CrossFit are sports (volleyball and softball for me as well as attending sports that my kids play) and photography (primarily family photography).
WHY DID YOU START CROSSFITTING OR FITNESSING?
I have always been active and into sports. I used to workout on my own and stayed relatively fit, but never loved having to figure out what to do every workout. I'd been interested in CrossFit for a while because of the diversity of movements involved and finally decided to try it out when a local gym ran a special. Once I tried it, I was hooked. There are so many movements to learn and goals to achieve, there is always something to work on. I also love that all I have to do is show up and work and all the programming is done for me.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WORKING OUT AND WHY DO YOU CONTINUE?
I feel better and more energetic when I move every day and I can keep up with my kids (mostly). I continue to do it so that I can eat ice cream and cookies and feel less bad about it. :-)
HOW HAS YOUR FITNESS OR YOUR ACTIVE LIVE IMPACTED YOUR LIFE BEYOND INSIDE OF THE GYM?
I've met lots of great people/friends through different activities/gyms/sports. I also want my kids to have plenty of exposure to healthy habits and activities as they grow up.
IF YOU NEVER HAD TO DO ONE EXERCISE MOVEMENT AGAIN, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Thrusters.... or pistols.

I really enjoy the community and support at this gym. Everyone is supportive and encouraging and it's just a great atmosphere to stay motivated for the next workout.
